Due to frigid temperatures, all Todd County School District schools will have a late start tomorrow at 10:00 AM. ❄️🌡️
📚 Instructional staff should report by 9:30 AM.
Please bundle up, stay safe, and allow extra time for travel. Thank you for your cooperation! 💙
🚨 Early Release Alert 🚨
Due to deteriorating road conditions, all Todd County School District schools will be releasing students at 12:30 PM today for their safety. Buses will run at 12:30 PM.
Please make arrangements for student pickup as needed, and drive carefully if you're on the roads. Stay safe, everyone!
The Todd County High School Boys' and Girls' varsity basketball games scheduled with Mobridge for Saturday Feb. 8th have been rescheduled to Feb. 17th due to the incoming winter storm.
Bus update for 2/6. B-2 will cover West, North, South Mission routes and will be 30-35 mins late.

🦠 *Flu season is here!* The flu (influenza A) can stick around for 7–14 days, and symptoms like cough and fatigue may last even longer. Fever can take 3–8 days to subside.
If your child has flu-like symptoms, here's what to do:
✔️ Call the school to excuse their absence.
✔️ Visit a clinic or hospital for care.
✔️ Follow recommended recovery days if diagnosed.
✔️ Provide a medical note upon their return to school.

B53: Okreek and then town.

B54 will run his usual route (He Dog, Parmelee, Upper Cut Meat) and finish with JDC and Ring Thunder housing.
• B53 will cover Okreek, and town routes will start 30 minutes later.
• B56 will handle Sunrise at the usual time.

📢 Important Announcement
In observance of the National Day of Mourning, all schools and offices in the Todd County School District will be closed on Thursday, January 9th, 2025. This day provides an opportunity for our community to come together in remembrance of former President Jimmy Carter.
Good Morning Todd County, with the late start this morning- (B55) will handle Rosebud, the new hospital housing, and Soldier Creek. B54 will run its regular route (Parmelee) and pick up New Ring Thunder and JDC housing along the way. B53 will cover Okreek and town, with town 30 minutes later than usual. B56 will handle Sunrise at the normal time. Remember to bundle up it's cold out there!
Boys High School basketball team will practice on Tuesday at 4:00 pm instead of 10:00 am due to road conditions.
There will be no cheerleading, basketball or wrestling practice at TCHS tomorrow Monday, December 30th.
