Expectations for OSEU Integration

TCSD Pillar 4: Safe, Healthy, and Culturally Responsive Learning Environment
Goal: 4.3: Embrace and Integrate Lakota Culture and Values
All teachers will integrate one OSEU-aligned lesson or set of lessons once a month.
Grade level expectations will be shared with all K-8 teachers.
All schools will use an OSEU implementation tracker. The tracker will be completed at the end of each quarter by building principal.
Principals will observe one OSEU lesson formally or informally and ensure that all teachers are completing and tracking their lessons.
All schools determine a time to review the Sicangu Indigenous Principles of Learning and reflection tool with staff during the first semester of the 25-26 school year.
All schools will use Albert White Hat's Orthography.
