The regular scheduled school board meeting for Monday, March 25th has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 27th at 4:00PM

Join us tomorrow, March 22nd for a virtual reading of "Be a Good Ancestor" by Leona Prince and Gabrielle Prince, members of the Lake Babine nation and Beaver Clan. Whitnee Coy, from the Community Family Services division of Black Hills Special Services will be reading this wonderful book in partnership with the SD Statewide Family Engagement Center.

We have important news for parents of high school juniors and seniors! If your child did not take the Smarter Balanced test previously, they will have the opportunity to do so this year. Students will take the test on Wednesday 3/27, please be at school by 8:30.
What Can You Do?
Encourage your child to try their best.
Ensure they get plenty of rest before test days.
Remind them to come to school on testing days. Let’s support our students as they take this important step in their academic journey! 📚🔍

Join us this Friday, for this week's Iyokpiya Waunspepi with Kansas Middletent. Kansas Middletent is a Gates Millennium Scholar who is an enrolled member of the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe. He comes from the Middletent Family and the Spotted Hawk Family. He currently lives on the Lower Brule Reservation with his family where is has been an educator and advocate on topics of Indigenous education, health, suicide awareness and prevention, parenting, teen dating, and perseverance/resilience. He uses the power of storytelling to build resilience in others. Listen as he shares words of encouragement for Indigenous youth and shares the story of the Turtle Warrior.
