Spring Family Chat
Soon schools across the district will begin their next round of Family Chats; Tiwahe Kin Woglakapi: The Family is Speaking. The chats are hosted via Zoom by the Statewide Family Engagement Center with administrators in the listening role.
The chats started in the Spring of 2021 as way to hear the thoughts of families about what schools can do to better meet the needs of their students and families.
The long-term goal of the chats is to establish a tradition that brings family and community voice to the table and in turn, promotes a sense of belonging, shared responsibility, and student success.
