Please congratulate Finley and La'Shaya! out of 340,000 nationwide entries, they were the TWO students from our region recognized by Scholastic Art and Writing Awards for their personal narratives! And they both attend the same school - and have the same teacher: Ray Taddeo !!!
Finley and La'Shaya are invited to attend an awards ceremony at the University of South Dakota at the end of the month, are eligible for scholarships to attend workshops over the summer, and will be entered into the National running, which culminates with a ceremony in Carnegie Hall, NYC! Be sure to congratulate them both on their excellence!
