Meet the Author!
Join us for a live virtual book reading with award winning author,, Jessie Taken-Alive Rencounte. Jessie is a Hunkpapa Lakota from the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe. She is the 2017 Great Plains Emerging Tribal Writer's Award winner for her children's book "Pet'a Shows Misun the Light" which is the book each student will be gifted for this event, so that they may follow along with her and enjoy the book for years to come.
