Students learning about colleges

The annual TCHS college fair was held last week with over 275 students from across the Rosebud area attending. White River High School was among the attendees, along with Todd County Middle School and all the 8th graders from the outlying schools in Todd County School District.

The college fair was an opportunity for students to explore different colleges and gather information about the application process, financial aid, and campus life. Representatives from 23 colleges, technical schools, and military organizations, including Augustana University, Black Hills State University, Chadron State College, Dakota State University, Dakota Wesleyan, Army National Guard, Army and Air Force, were present to provide information to students.

The college fair was an excellent opportunity for students to interact with representatives from different colleges, ask questions, and gather information. It was also a chance for students to explore new opportunities and find the best fit for their future academic pursuits.

The TCHS college fair is one of the many events organized by the school to help students make informed decisions about their future education. The fair was deemed a success by both students and representatives from the various colleges who participated.
