Have you ever been caught in a rainstorm? Everything around you is suddenly soaking wet. Puddles form on sidewalks and streets. A few hours later, the wet ground is dry. The puddles are gone. Where do you think the water went?
Have you ever noticed what happens to ice cubes if you leave them out? The ice changes into a liquid. Or maybe you've noticed what happens to a pot of water boiling on a stove. The water changes into a gas. Water changes from one state to another as it is heated or cooled.
