To finish a year of fun and learning, North Elementary’s After School Program recently traveled to the Discovery Center in Pierre. The Discovery Center provides interactive exhibits and hands-on science activities that are fun and educational; students enjoyed digging for bones, building ramps, adding to the ever-growing K’nex exhibit, and more!
“This trip was a celebration. The students and staff of North’s After School program have accomplished many of their learning goals this year, and this trip was a way for us to acknowledge everybody’s dedication to learning.” stated North’s After School Program Coordinator Denise Farley.
In addition to the Discovery Center, students enjoyed dining out, and spent time exploring in the parks along the Missouri River.
