A Note From Ex Ed. Director Carol Galbraith
Welcome!
We are proud of the effort and time that our faculty and staff put forth in making this a place where ALL children can learn and develop.
Our exceptional education programs have come a long way over the last several years and continue to undergo transition so as to ensure a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) and a continuum of services for all students.
Our staff receives ongoing training in pertinent special education and regular education issues, making certain to address the needs of the individual child as well as the collective group.
Some of the improvements and changes that Todd County has undergone over the last few years include:
    •    Increased number of special education teachers and paraprofessionals throughout the district
    •    Attended various reading and math initiative trainings
    •    Training on effective transition plans, IEP writings, and Differentiated Instruction
    •    All IEPs now on a server – All appropriate faculty have access
    •    Increased effective inclusive opportunities throughout district
    •    Developed and implemented more meaningful transition plans,

We are encouraged by these changes and continue to strive for excellence – the type of excellence that begets program changes and ultimately, each student’s long-term success.
Thank you for exploring our web site.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.  I welcome the opportunity to share our vision for the exceptional students of Todd County.
