Welcome Teachers of Writing! This site has been created to support Todd County School District teachers of writing. You will be able to access updated rubric forms and we are in the process of creating an online data base of benchmark papers. These papers can be used to support as you score papers, but more importantly--they can provide reference papers to share with your students as you establish expectations during your immersion studies.  Please note that there have been significant changes in many of the rubrics (summer,2007), so that you need to take care not to assess papers using outdated versions of the rubric. While we hope that these changes further support you and your students, it is important to think of this work as dynamic. By sharing your noticings regarding any possible inconsistencies, problem areas or errors, you can help to shape this tool for use with students in the future.
