L E S L E Y AGE: 14 CLASS: Freshman READER PROFILE: I love reading fantasy books, but I will read any book that I can. My favorite books are the series by Scott Westerfield called Uglies, Pretties, Specials and Extras. I also like Feed, The Giver and Twilight. I don’t have a favorite author.

I liked this book Dragonsdale Riding the Storm because it is about a fantasy world where riders compete on dragons. In the book two girls named Breena and Cara are best friends.  But Breena sees Cara has become a better rider than her. The Breena and Moonflight lose their trust bond.  Breena becomes jealous of Cara when she and Skydancer fly better than Breena.  Then Breena goes missing and Cara has to find her.  I recommend anyone who likes fantasy and dragons to read this book.  My favorite part is when Breena and Moonflight are found by Cara.  My favorite creature is the sea dragon because it looks cool with its fins.  This book taught me friendship is very important in order to do anything together.  Also, if you want to win, you’ve got to trust what you’re doing and not become jealous.
