The primary goal of He Dog School is to provide a differentiated achievement-oriented learning community within the unique framework of the Lakota culture. The families, tiospaye, and members of the surrounding communities are He Dog’s greatest resource in providing a safe and healthy school environment, which supports the students’ academic and social needs; further enhancing the Lakota culture and traditions.
